About
I wasn’t prepared for my father’s death, and with my mother devastated, preparing for the funeral fell to me.
The hardest part of preparing for that memorial service was trying to write a eulogy for my father that would pay tribute to him, convey his essence to other guests, comfort people and hopefully make them laugh without offending them.
I’m not a great public speaker, but I bought a book of funeral poems, and scoured the net for information on how to write a eulogy.
Who I am isn’t really important. And right now, neither is who are you. The reason you’ve come to this blog is because the loved one you are planning to eulogize is.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to mail me. And I’m hoping to put a section of sample eulogy speeches up soon, so if you feel like changing your loved one’s name, and submitting what you come up with, that would be wonderful.

Good day, I was reading something else about this on another blog. Interesting. Your perspective about it is diametrically contradicted to what I read earlier. I am still pondering on the opposite points of view, but I’m leaning to a large degree toward yours. And irrespective, that’s what is so perfect about modern-day democracy and the marketplace of ideas online.
